Camera Systems

Select a camera vision system for your Reach stacker

Orlaco develops camera monitor systems for all types of reach stackers. The Orlaco cameras can be used for rear and top views, and for views of the twist locks.

The design of a reach stacker and the working position of the mast often cause significant limitation of the operator's field of vision. Good visibility of the spreader when picking up and moving containers is, after all, a necessity. Orlaco camera systems offer the operator optimum visibility of the work site for improved safety, efficiency and comfort.

Gantry crane (RTG/RMG)

Orlaco develops camera monitoring systems for Rubber Tired Gantry cranes (RTG) and Rail Mounted Gantry cranes (RMG). Orlaco cameras can be used to enhance visibility of the spreader and when moving to the left or to the right.

Load-view

An Orlaco load-view camera on your gantry crane enhances visibility when moving containers.

Driven-Direction View

With four Orlaco cameras on the feet of the gantry crane, the operator always maintains visibility of the situation when moving to the left or to the right. When stationary, the operator sees all four camera images on the monitor simultaneously in quad. When moving to the left or right, the operator then sees the required camera images in split screen.

Straddle carrier (SC)

Orlaco develops camera monitor systems for straddle carriers. Orlaco cameras can be used to enhance visibility to the sides and rear of the crane and when positioning containers.

Side and rear view

An Orlaco side and rear view camera on your straddle carrier not only allows you to reverse more safely, but it also shows you what is happening behind and beside the carrier when turning.

Positioning view

The Orlaco positioning view system operates independently of the ship-to-shore crane (STS). With two cameras in the middle of the spreader and two monitors in the cab, this vision system makes it possible for the operator of the straddle carrier to position the container exactly in the center of the STS crane.

Ship to shore crane (STS)

Orlaco develops camera monitor systems for ship-to-shore cranes. Orlaco cameras can be used to enhance visibility of the locking function, the load, the area behind the crane, when positioning containers and even for a view of the entire work site.

Latch-view
The boom is raised when the crane is not operational. An Orlaco Latch camera fitted at the top near the locking point allows the operator to monitor the locking function at all times.

Load-view
The Orlaco load-view camera provides the operator with a good view of the operations behind and under the crane while the containers are being loaded and unloaded.

Rear view
The Orlaco rear view camera ensures that the operator always has a view of the area behind the ship-to-shore crane. A quick look at the monitor gives the operator an instant view of the area in which the container should be positioned.

Driven-Direction View
With four Orlaco cameras on the feet of the ship-to-shore crane, the operator always maintains visibility of the situation when moving to the left or to the right. When stationary, the operator sees the four camera images on the monitor simultaneously in quad. When moving to the left or right, the operator then sees the required camera images in split screen.

Back-reach camera
The Back-reach camera is fitted on the back-reach platform. The camera cannot be accessed by the operator; it is used by the logistics and operations team via a network application to view the work area under the crane. A remote-controlled Pan & Tilt camera provides them with a view of the entire work site.
