Stationary material handlers
Efficient, rugged and reliable
Terex® Fuchs stationary material handlers are impeccably designed to provide cost-efficiency and exceptional reliability. In any setting that requires material handlers to carry out basic operations, the solidly built AHL Series machines perform conclusively and with the legendary reliability in materials handling that has come to be expected of Terex® Fuchs. As material handlers used in construction are deployed for the most part to feed processing plants incorporating shredders, scrap shears or presses, the electrical power supply available at such facilities can usually be utilized to power the machine. Using the large electric motors available offers a wide range of benefits. Firstly, the relatively higher costs incurred through the use of an expensive diesel generator set and a corresponding cooling unit are precluded. Maintenance costs arising from the use of the electrical unit are comparatively low, since neither engine oil nor coolant requires monitoring or re-filling. The time-intensive cleaning of oil and air filters is, likewise, precluded. And, as a whole, electrical power is definitively environment-friendly, since it does not give rise to emissions or noise pollution occasioned by loud fans.
Operator comfort is in no way compromised – even in stationary material handlers. The spacious fully equipped operator’s cab, incorporating state-of-the-art controls, such as supplementary video surveillance, provides everything needed for safe, productive and stress-free working.
Electric drives – maximized output for hydraulic functions
High-performance electric motors guarantee smooth operation of your stationary material handler and offer numerous advantages:
- no re-fuelling interruptions
- no expenditure on engine oil
- no intensive maintenance of coolers or filters
The standard main drive provides an output of 110 kW, which is exclusively available for hydraulic functions.
